Surfer's Path Race Giveaway

There is a new marathon in town and its called the Surfer’s Path Marathon and Capitola Half. It’s about darn time Santa Cruz hosted a marathon and I am pretty excited about it! What is better than running a course with coastal views?  Winning a free entry to the full or Half (you choose) of this inaugural race that will be held May 20th, 2012 but of course!

All you have to do to enter is like the Surfer’s Path Marathon page on Facebook and leave me a comment on this blog post to let me know you have done so.

For an extra entry you can leave me another comment on which distance you would want to run; The Surfer’s Path Marathon or Capitola Half and why?

For an additional entry, Tweet about this contest using twitter handle @RunSurfersPath and a link to this blog; runinsyn.com. Be creative or copy and paste -  “I just entered to win a free Marathon or Half Mary entry into the @RunSurfersPath at runinsyn.com.” 
Then leave a comment here to let me know you have done so.

    Under same day as b2b and Ohlone 50k? That's almost as bad as putting your new race up against a Rock'n'roll event. :-(
    I'd run this if it were the following weekend. :-(

    I really want to run the Capitola Half because the course is basically the Wharf to Wharf twice, and I like the half marathon distance. It's long enough that you feel accomplished, but not as long as a full marathon!

    I'd love to run the half - I'm training for a June 23 marathon and am looking for a good energy boost around this date! I ran the half in Santa Cruz this past weekend and loved it.

    I would love to run the Capitola 1/2 because since I was little I used to hear about the magical town of Santa Cruz, where everybody surfed! and on my 1st computer I had a floppy disk (am I showing my age here?) with a surfing game where one of the spots was Santa Cruz...But I digress....
    Never been there yet, and just moved to california (2 days ago) so it would be neat to be there at last, running a race!

    Half for me this year. Just ran the NYC Marathon in November and Napa in March. Need to "take it easy" this summer.
